Designed for bikes that receive lighter use, our Bronze Service covers the essentials required to ensure your bike is mechanically sound and safe to ride.

Our Bronze Service includes:

• A full safety check

• Tyres inspected for wear and inflated to the correct PSI

• Brakes inspected and adjusted

• Drivetrain inspected, adjusted and lubricated using the appropriate Muc-Off lubricant

• Headset, Bottom Bracket and Hubs checked for operation. If adjustment is needed a Silver Service will be required

• All accessories and other parts fitted are checked for correct fitting and adjusted if necessary

• Frame, fork and rims wiped down

• Advice on areas that may need attention and/or further work

An additional £2 labour charge per following item(s) fitted during a Bronze Service is applicable:

·        Brake pads

·        Inner and/or outer cables

·        Inner tubes and/or tyres

·        Accessories purchased from           Birdie Bikes

Notes

Our Bronze Service does not include the bleeding of hydraulic brakes. If this is needed then a Silver Service will be required.

There is a £4.00 surcharge per item for parts and/or accessories fitted during a service that are not supplied by Birdie Bikes. This is in addition to the £2 per item additional labour charge.

SILVER SERVICE

Our Silver Service is our Best Value Service, ensuring that every aspect of your bike is carefully looked over by one of our professional mechanics.

Our Silver Service includes all that our Bronze Service offers plus the following:

·        Drivetrain removed and cleaned using our Rozone Smartwasher

• Wheels removed, trued if necessary and then cleaned using our Rozone Smartwasher

• Hubs inspected and adjusted if necessary

• Bottom bracket inspected and adjusted if necessary

• Headset inspected and adjusted if necessary

• Brakes cleaned, inspected and adjusted (a hydraulic fluid charge of £5 applies if hydraulic brakes require bleeding)

• Frame and forks cleaned using Muc-Off formulated bike cleaner and finished with Muc-Off Silicone Shine

• Transmission lubricated using the appropriate Muc-Off lubricant

• The fitting of all spare parts and/or accessories required and/or purchased

• A report on the condition of the bike, work carried out and notes to consider for the future if necessary

GOLD SERVICE

The Gold Service is our Full Monty. Whether you are a high mileage cyclist or need your bike in tip top condition for that all important event, our Gold Service looks at every aspect of your bike in fine detail. No nut is unturned, so you can assure your bike will ride like the day it left the showroom by the time one of our highly skilled mechanics have finished.

Our Gold Service includes all that our Bronze and Silver Services offer plus the following:

·        A strip down and rebuild of the bike

·        Front and rear derailleurs removed, inspected and cleaned using our Rozone Smartwasher

• Hubs inspected and serviced

• Bottom bracket inspected and serviced

• Headset inspected and serviced

• Brake calipers removed, inspected and cleaned using our Rozone Smartwasher

• Hydraulic brakes bled if applicable (the cost of hydraulic fluid is included)

• Frame and forks finished with Muc-Off Silicone Shine polish

• The fitting of all spare parts and/or accessories required and/or purchased

• The option to bring your bike back within 4 weeks for a free check over and re-tension

• A report on the condition of the bike, work carried out and notes to consider for the future if necessary

THE BROMPTON (FULL MONTY)

Our Brompton Full Monty service is our most comprehensive Brompton Service. It is carried out only by our Brompton Trained Technicians, who attend on-going annual assessment at Brompton’s Head Office. Every aspect of your Brompton is looked at in fine detail. No nut is left unturned; no folding joint is left unexamined.  Major work including Rear Hinge Bush and Seat Post Sleeve Replacement are completed and only original Brompton parts are ever used.

Our Brompton Full Monty service includes all that our standard Bronze and Silver Services offer, plus the following:

·        A thorough clean and inspection of the whole Brompton

·        Replacement of the folding Rear Hinge Bush (cost of parts included)

·        Replacement of the Seat Post Sleeve (cost of parts included)

·        All hinge joints inspected and lubricated

• Hubs inspected and serviced if required

• Bottom bracket inspected and serviced if required

• Headset inspected and serviced if required

• The fitting of all spare parts and/or accessories required or purchased

• The option to bring your Brompton back within 4 weeks for a free check over and re-tension

• A report on the condition of your Brompton, work carried out and notes to consider for the future if necessary
